To some "Black History" is that month 28 days out of one year 29 if you count leap year. However, for millions of people of color "History " is every single day. Many don't strive to have wonderful words written about them in the history books or beautiful words written on a headstone. Many strive to build a history for those they love and see every day. That history to them is leaving a legacy by being the first too! First to own a home, bank account, high school diploma, college degree, a business, first to live in a community to say " I helped change this very community.
