With Grateful Hearts: Thank You for Celebrating With Us

The African American Coalition of Kane County extends our heartfelt thanks to the City of Elgin, our generous sponsors, community partners, vendors, volunteers, and everyone who helped bring our 2026 Juneteenth Festival to life.

Your support made more than a festival possible. It created a place where generations came together, Black history and culture were honored, local businesses were celebrated, and neighbors became friends. From the people who gave their time to the organizations that provided funding and resources, each of you helped make this celebration meaningful.

We could not have made this happen without you. Thank you for believing in our mission, investing in our community, and helping us preserve a legacy of freedom, resilience, and hope.

“When we come together to honor our history, we build a stronger future—together.”
— African American Coalition of Kane County
